Abstract: Abstract: For the characteristics of calligraphy learning beginners, on the base of computer aided technologies, according to the evaluation standard of calligraphy towards beginners, algorithms of calligraphy similarity are proposed. Calligraphy imitations are fed into computer by scanning or taking pictures and preprocessed by utilizing computer image processing technology. By means of making Image skeleton, invariant moment and gray projection algorithm, feature extractions of imitation fonts is made, from the aspect of structure feature, stipple form and writing rules, respectively. Similarity calculation of imitation fonts and original fonts is also completed, and the auxiliary learning system that provides comprehensive assessment of calligraphy imitations for beginners is realized.
