Abstract: Abstract: The ancient characters of five civilization centers in the world originated from graphics. The graphics plays an important role in the human civilization development. The concept term of graphics is defined. The origin of the ancient Chinese hieroglyphics, the ancient Egypt hieroglyphics, the ancient India hieroglyphics, the central America Maya hieroglyphics and the Sumer cuneiform hieroglyphics are stated to compare with the graphics. The graphics is consist of spirit, subject, marrow and foundation. The graphics coexists with the universe and states the world change rules, carries down the human civilization information and displays human innovation culture. The graphics has developed with the past, presence and future. The graphics should undertake the scared duty of realizing the world, carrying down the civilization, innovating the thesis and culture, serving the politics and society and educating the people.
