Abstract: In the course of descriptive geometry and shadow perspective drawing, the basic principles of measuring point method are more complex, and when drawing two-point perspective manually, the problem is always occurred that vision point and vanishing points are out of the drawing board. This paper introduces the method of using direct building facade method and assistant vanishing point. Employing the method can achieve the ellipsis of vanishing points and avoid the problem that vision point and vanishing points are out of the drawing board. At the same time, employing the method can also avoid confusion error between vanishing points and measuring point. The application of the method has proven the effectivity of this method.
