Abstract: The micro-vehicle rear axle housing is studied in this paper. The mathematical model of#br# rear axle housing for lightweight was build aiming to do the research on structural analysis. The#br# optimal solution of rear axle housing, thickness for different parts were calculated on the basis of#br# Workbench software. Thus reducing the weight of the axle housing is 12%, and a theoretical basis and#br# simulation reference is provided for axle structural analysis and lightweight research.
