Model Establishment and Experimental Verification of Hypoid Equal Addendum Gear Based on Sweep Forming Method

Abstract: This paper uses sweep forming method for high precision modeling of the main reducer
hypoid equal addendum gears. In order to analyse the influence of different helix angles on vibration
of the main reducer, the Adams software is used to determine the best helix angle interval. And the
correctness of the simulation analysis is verified by the experiment, the validity of the sweep forming
method is also proved. This paper provides a reference for the modeling and analysis of hypoid equal
addendum gear.
