Abstract: Abstract: In ADAMS software, multi-rigid-body dynamics theory is applied to simplify the modeling and simulation of complex models, which is used to solve the complicated modeling process in ADAMS and the low computational efficiency of the simulation process. Firstly, the multi-rigid body dynamics of the simplified modeling method is analyzed. Then the specific procedure of simplified modeling based on ADAMS is put forward. The present study attaches great importance to a mathematical method that enables the central principal moment of inertia and the principal axis of central inertia of the original model and the simplified model to be of the same orientation. Finally, the simplified modeling method is applied to the roller coaster bicycle model, and the simulation results are compared and analyzed. The simulation results show that the simplified dynamic roller coaster model based on ADAMS is basically the same as the original model. This simplified modeling method can effectively improve the modeling efficiency of complex models in ADAMS and the computational efficiency of simulation.
