Abstract: Aiming at integrative frame of computer-aided structural design and analysis, the
integrative frame based on uniform data model and components is proposed, in which the bottom
level is integrative structural model database of CAD/CAE; the middle level is the components,
including of geometric modeling components, visual interactive components, third-party CAD
components, third-party CAE components, and so on; the top level is application layer, including
subsystems of structural design and structural analysis. The frame supports functions of spatial
structure modeling, models management, finite element analyzing, finite element calculating, and
so on. Finally, the frame is applied for spatial structural design and finite element analysis of port
terminals.
