Abstract: Calculation of the surface coordinates of roller gear cam is accomplished by using VC++ language based on the working principle of roller gear cam. The CAD model of roller gear cam is constructed by using the point-cloud processing function of Imageware software and the solid modeling function of UG software. This work lays the foundation for the followed virtual design and manufacturing.
