Abstract: The lines (or road-lines) are formed by many structures, so the structures’ three-dimensional landscape simulation is an important part of the line landscape simulation. OpenGL modeling capability is not strong enough, so the new line structure modeling method is proposed based on external 3DS models. The structures’ database is established and an effective management of the models is achieved based on Visual C + + and Oracle database. The problem of exactly matching and controlling between structure models and line three-dimensional scene is also solved, and then high reality of three-dimensional line landscape is reached.
