Abstract: 3D model can’t be afforded to 3D printer an activate structure, because it is generally
closed mesh which is static. Aimed to creating a printable activate model for non-professional users,
this paper studies common parameters design of the active joints and the solving of parameters, while
gets the limit of the threshold parameters that would influence the performance of activity. On this
basis, an easy to use method that can add active joint to static model is proposed, which can generator
some doll’s models with moved limbs and functional models for daily use. The results of 3D printing
demonstrate the joints originated from the design of this paper are enrich and valid. The method
creating active model is quickly and flexible, and has been accepted by most users.
