Abstract: An approach for a kind of parametric transform is presented for trimmed parametric surfaces. Firstly, the characteristics of trimmed surface before and after parametric transform are evaluated. Then, an algorithm is proposed to adjust the geometric and topological data of a trimmed surface in order to achieve consistency. At last, the trimmed sphere surface is taken as example to further illustrate the algorithm.
