Abstract: Astronautics simulation mainly focuses on multimedia simulation and scene
simulation currently. However, the immersion is limited. An astronautics simulation system is
developed to solve this problem with virtual reality technology. The system is based on tiled-display
technology and a series of open-source software. According to the application demand, separated
display mode and combined display mode are developed to detach data computation and visual
display. The system has advantages in portability and immersion.
