Abstract: To solve the theoretical calculation problem of the resonant tuning fork with the consideration of axial force and additional quality, three theoretical models of the resonant tuning fork are deduced. These three models are proposed by using Rayleigh law and the law of conservation of energy with the consideration of the following three cases: the axial force, the additional quality, both the axial force and the additional quality. On this basis, the finite element simulation method is used to verify the correctness of these theoretical models. A number of simulation results show that the relative error between calculation results and simulation results are less than 1%, which proves that the theoretical calculation is correct.
