Research on the Practice Instructing for the Product Design Curriculum Under the University-Industry Collaboration Mode

Abstract: The product design curriculum is core for the industrial design education system.
Aiming for the problem of students’ lack of practical ability, the university-industry collaboration
mode which can utilize the advantages of both sides would combine the theoretical school
education with practical producing process. By implementing various ways of instructing and
interaction, and separately using the rich experience of the early, mid and later stage in product
development from enterprises, the students’ key ability of concept creativity, forming designing
and product realization can be effectively improved.
