Abstract: It is great significance to learn the theory of network performance for improving the design, adjustment and operation of air conditioning system. Aiming at the problem that the practical teaching of pipe network characteristics was hard to conduct for the limit of actual conditions, a simulation model of air conditioning system was built based on Dymola, and a virtual experiment simulation practical teaching platform was developed. A virtual simulation experiment was designed, and then a practice application case was showed. The results show that this virtual experiment simulation platform can be applicable to HVAC practical teaching, and it provides an intuitive, vivid, flexible method for the study of hydraulic and fan performance. It will be helpful to improve the teaching quality and students’ learning interest.
