Abstract: With the rapid development of internet and CAD technologies, the content, mode and
methods of graphics teaching develop rapidly in colleges and universities in China. Accordingly, a
large-scale survey about current graphics education situation in a national colleges and universities
has been launched from the of 2015. It is the eighth large-scale survey after those in 1997, 1998, 2000,
2002, 2004, 2006 and 2008. Based on the results of this survey, the current education situation and the
developing tendency in the future are described. It will be helpful for the researchers and teachers in
the field of Engineering Graphics in China.
