Abstract: The three-dimensional digital modeling technique mainly has two ways:
parametric modeling and direct modeling. But both are defective in practical applications. In this
paper, a hybrid modeling technique consisting of the two is presented. This method can reflect the
intention of the designers and improve design efficiency better.
