The Application of CAD Technology in the Process of Aircraft Bionic Design

Abstract: Unmanned amphibious aircrafts have become a hot topic in recent researches. In#br# order to make aircrafts achieve 3 navigation states which include travelling underwater, travel state#br# transition from water to air, and flying in the sky, we need to solve several technical matters such as#br# variable density, structural transformation, power conversion and so on. Meanwhile, the studies on#br# hydromechanics, dynamics of interface, aerodynamics are also crucial. Australasian gannets, like#br# many other seabird species, locate pelagic prey from the air and perform rapid plunge dives for their#br# capture. This kind of birds can fly through both the water and the air, so the research on its actions is#br# of great immense significance to the study of the unmanned amphibious aircrafts. The processes of#br# bionic design methods for the unmanned amphibious aircraft are introdeced, and the functions of#br# CAD techniques using in the bionic design process are explained.#br# Key words: bionic design; product design; CAD; amphibious aircrafts; gannets
