    Graphics and Geometry

    The relationships between graphics and geometry are discussed in this paper. From the
    view that shape is the source of the graph, the drawing/image are fundamentally constructed by
    geometric elements, thus the process of generation, representation, processing and propagation of
    drawing/image could be regarded as some operations of definition, transformation and interrelation of
    geometric elements. Therefore, it can be concluded that geometry is the basis of graphics and its
    theory, and meanwhile geometric computing is also the basis of graphics computing. Then, based on
    the analysis of graphics and its computing fundamentally, the essence, contradiction and key
    technologies of graphics computing are presented. The respective roles and advantages/disadvantages
    of algebra and geometry, emphasizing the leading status of human in the design of algorithms are also
    discussed. Moreover, the generation of a drawing or a model depends more on the relations between
    their elements than the elements themselves. Since the drawing/images have become the major
    objects and representation in graphics computing, a geometry-based shape calculation mechanism is
    introduced to fix the shortage of normal numerical calculation mechanism, so as to pursuit a new
    mode of geometric computing as thinking by shape while computing by number.

    The voxels structure principle of 3D model as the foundation, expounds the voxel geometry
    information and body elements of topological relations and benchmark problems, establish the 3D
    model feature extraction function and of its rotation, translation and size changes of classic moment
    invariant processing, put forward a based on voxel structure and genetic algorithm of 3D model
    retrieval method. This method reduces the convergence speed of the search area and improves the
    retrieval accuracy and retrieval speed by the genetic information encoding, the genetic information in
    the iteration and the variation of the genetic information.

    Research on the Innovation Method of Ergonomic Products Based on E/HOQ/TRIZ

    To fast and accurate ergonomic product design at the design stage, the E/HOQ/TRIZ
    integration model is developed and the specific steps are described. The method of obtaining user
    needs based on the ergonomics (E) user needs three-dimensional classification was described. The
    key issues and the key design areas of ergonomic design were established by the house of quality
    (HOQ). The type of conflicts of the key issues were analyzed and resolved by the theory of inventive
    problem solving (TRIZ) for achieving ergonomic product innovation. E/HOQ/TRIZ integration model
    can effectively make up the limitations of the single design theory and method, and play the
    advantages of the three theories and methods, so as to realize the innovative design of human machine
    products. Finally, through innovative design of the ergonomic bath facilities, the feasibility of the
    proposed integrated model and approach was demonstrated.

    Research on Emotional Forecast Method of the Mobile Terminal User Interaction Behavior

    User’s emotional experience in the design of interaction is related to the success of the design,
    the study of user’s emotion has been the research focus in the interaction design. People with mobile
    terminals produces emotion in the process of interactive behavior. Because of the emotion of
    subjectivity, it is difficult to measure objectively. This paper proposes a method predicting the emotion
    with eyes’ movement indices, choosing Chinese PAD emotional scales as the tool of emotional
    measurement, by partial least squares regression analysis to establish the eyes’ movement indices and
    PAD the emotional value of multivariate linear regression model, then carry on the experiment design,
    whether the the mapping function relation can accurately predict the emotion, the experimental results
    proved that the relational expression can accurately forecast emotion.

    Because plenty of the existing one-dimensional KE models cannot express the users’
    perception information of products comprehensively. The method of structuring multi-dimensional
    perception information based on product feature deconstruction was proposed. Structured
    Multi-dimensional feature space and emotional perceiving space by using the method of product
    shape deconstruction; combined the theory of similarity, MDS and the K-mean CA to quantify the
    image vocabularies and extract the typical emotional dimension; determined the main influence
    factors with PCA. Finally structured the KE model of multi-dimensional variables by multiple linear
    regression analysis method. Based on an example of the microwaves, proved the feasibility of this
    method, and the result indicated that this method was more effective to lead product design.

    A New Method for 3D Space Calibration Based on Planar Calibration Board

    This paper puts forward a new 3D space calibration method by using planar checkerboard
    lattice calibration in based on the existing problems for using three-dimensional frame camera
    calibration in the calibration range, error, portable and aging aspects. This study selected five meters,
    ten meters and 30 meters of the shooting distance. Calibration reference object used traditional 3D
    radiation type stereo frame and homemade two-dimensional planar checkerboard calibration plate, the
    standard meter length scale for 3D reconstruction. The accuracy comparison of two kinds of
    measurement results is carried out. In addition, the error distribution of the different position of the
    standard one meter in the measurement space (the middle and the edge of the measuring frame) is
    carried out. Experimental results showed that implemented in this paper based on planar checkerboard
    calibration plate camera calibration method had significant advantages, regardless of convenience and
    measurement accuracy this new method was better than three-dimensional framework and met the
    needs of scientific research of physical education.

    Un-Calibrated Single Visual Image of Orthogonal Vanishing Point Detection Algorithm

    The traditional method can only calculate the orthogonal vanishing point of the calibration
    image, dose not take into account the error of straight line detection, the length of the straight line and
    the location relationship between the candidate vanishing point and the constrained line has the
    impact on the accuracy of the vanishing point detection. For such problems, this paper proposes an
    un-calibrated single visual image of orthogonal vanishing point detection algorithm. First, use
    J-Linkage algorithm to complete the initialization of the vanishing point estimates, and get the set of
    assumed vanishing points. Second, according to the consistency between the assumed vanishing
    points and lines, length of line segment to get the exact vertical vanishing point based on a voting
    mechanism. Third, calculate the parameters of the image camera by the nature and properties of the
    vanishing point and vanishing line. Then based of the orthogonal characteristics of the vanishing point
    to get the exact horizontal and depth direction of the vanishing point. By the introduction of a new
    consistency measurement method between the assumed vanishing point and the line of image, this
    method not only gets rid of the dependence on the camera parameters, but also reduces the impacts of
    the impacts of errors of line segment extraction, length of line segment as well as the relative position of
    vanishing point and the constrained line on the precision of vanishing points detection, in the case of unknown image camera parameters this method can get accurate information about the three orthogonal
    vanishing point. This method this thesis applied can achieve better results in indoor scenes.

    The Video Detection System for Wheel/Rail Vertical Relative Displacement

    Wheel/rail contact state is the basic content in analyzing safety of the train, and the relative
    displacement between wheel/rail is the most direct reflection of wheel/rail contact state. The current
    contact measurement based on sensor is widely used in dynamic performance parameters detection
    for monitoring locomotive status. However, it has several defects, such as being difficult to realize
    dynamic measurement and has poor anti-jamming capability. In order to overcome the defects above,
    the video monitoring system for wheel/rail relative vertical displacement is designed in this paper. In
    the system, camera and laser are installed on the bogie vertically. Since the camera, laser and bogie
    remain static each other, then the wheel/rail relative vertical displacement can be measured by the
    laser ordinate change in image. Finally, the experiments had been carried out under the two different
    conditions of ballastless track and ballast track. The results show that the system can acquire
    wheel/rail vertical relative displacement and has strong adaptability to the detection environment, and
    it has great important significance to further exploring and evaluating locomotive safety mechanics.

    A Novel Method for Fish-Eye Image Radial Distortion Correction

    Since the fish-eye camera has wide view field, it has been used widely in many fields.
    However, there is seriously radial distortion, needed to be corrected before any application. Fish-eye
    image geometric correction is a hot and difficult problem in current industrial applications and theoretical
    research. This paper presents a radial distortion model, and point out its analytical solution is not unique.
    According the symmetry of the radial distortion, reveals the relationship between a distortion curve and its
    ideal straight line, called the analytical expression of the curve distortion correction. Based on the previous
    analysis, this paper proposes a geometric correction method. Experiments show that this method is simple,
    can effectively corrects the scene which containing line features.

    In order to satisfy the requirements of the construction management and the digital transfer
    of the new lines of Guangzhou Metro, Guangzhou Metro Group Co., Ltd. cooperates with Tsinghua
    University, and then advanced 4D construction management concept was first introduced to rail
    transit construction projects. We have studied a variety of mainstream modeling software
    compatibility and integration of information technology, and have established BIM-based rail transit
    4D technology application architecture and information model structure by studying multi-platform
    information management model, which apply to the actual construction management of Hedong
    station of the posterior segment in Guang-Fo line. In addition, the system implements the
    electromechanical equipment information management process based on two-dimensional code, the
    “pressing the pin” quality and safety management based on 3D models, as well as the schedule
    management with the work order as the core. Meanwhile, to better promote the landing application system, we studied and complied the BIM standard application guidelines. The application of this
    system shows that the research contributes to the information sharing among project participants,
    multi-disciplinary collaboration, shorten the construction period and reduce operating costs, which
    greatly improve the efficiency through the process of the subway construction and the information
    management level.

    The Research of the BIM-Based Building Fire Safety Management Framework

    As the great development of urbanization in our country, fire disasters in cities have
    increased largely and the fire safety management becomes more difficulty. With the progress of
    building information modelling (BIM), the fire safety design and fire safety management have
    achieved new methods and ideas. This research has developed a BIM-based building fire safety
    management framework consisting of the BIM-based fire safety design model, BIM-based Fire
    emergence response plan management and BIM-based intelligent fire system. This framework has
    been evaluated in a real construction project and illustrated that the application of BIM can increase
    the efficiency and reliability for building fire safety management and provide technical and
    managerial supports for the fire safety management lifecycle.

    Aiming at the problems of information management, information sharing, lack of
    information standards, this paper propose that the information model of ancient buildings could be set
    up to improve the management of information. Firstly, analyze the information of whole life cycle of
    ancient buildings, then standardize the information, finally, establish the ancient building components
    information model. Experiments show that the method greatly improves the efficiency of
    management and utilization of information.

    platform, choose development and operation platform of the system. Through the analysis of interface
    of Android framework, the orthographic view is designed. Through the analysis of and data needs of
    the glDrawElements, and VRML97 data format, the VRML loader is designed. The 3D browser of
    VRML model is designed on the Android system. And the core function of software is developed. The
    APP of engineering graphics is realized based on Android platform. The software has characteristic of
    innovation and practicability, and get the first prize in the 14th national multimedia courseware
    contest.

    Development of Web Virtual Model Library of Engineering Drawing Based on WebGL

    The composite solids in Engineering Drawing are modelled by using AutoCAD. Based on
    the exported files in the STL format for the models and WebGL, the data files for the models are read
    and parsed, a shading program and an interactive processing program for mouse event are developed,
    and a web virtual model library of solids for engineering drawing, which can be run in browsers is
    established. The library has a large number of models and a friendly graphical user interface. When
    installed on a server, the library can be accessed on client terminals, which facilitates classroom
    teaching and is helpful to spatial imagination ability of students, improve their study efficiency and
    provide reference for the development of other virtual model library.

    General education is not only a concept of university education, but also a model of talent
    cultivation. As a university-wide general education course, engineering skills training is an important
    way to cultivate students’ engineering awareness and improve students’ engineering quality. Based on
    the teaching reform and practice of engineering skills training in South China Agricultural University,
    this paper focused on the teaching of engineering skills training in agricultural colleges. By analyzing
    the problems existed in teaching elements of this course, such as teaching goal, teaching content,
    teaching mode and teaching conditions, some reform directions and measures were put forward on the
    basis of the requirement of talents training in agricultural colleges in twenty-first century. Besides, the
    effect and achievements of the new teaching method were summarized, for the purpose of
    establishing a kind of teaching mode of engineering skill general training which is suitable for the
    agricultural colleges, and has the characteristics of the times.

    With the rapid development of information technology, it brings changes of how the
    classroom teaching organizes and presents. To improve the quality of classroom teaching, it was of
    great importance to do the research of how to take advantage of information technology and excellent
    education resources and reform teaching mode in top university. The key points of engineering
    graphics were analyzed, and according to its type and characteristics we designed the blended
    learning mode, then two rounds of practice were carried. Compared with conventional learning mode,
    blended learning approach achieved success not only in the accomplishment of the teaching program,
    but also in the improvement of the students’ learning efficiency and self-directed learning abilities.

    mode, and developed an engineering graphics test paper generating system.

    Mobile Learning System of Engineering Graphics Based on VR Technology

    In the perspective of the cognitive process and the demand of diverse learning needs in the
    future, this paper presents a mobile learning system of engineering graphics based on the android
    platform and describes the main program of underlying structure, function and technology solutions.
    The mobile learning system of engineering graphics is designed based on virtual reality (VR), which
    is combined with JPCT-AE 3D engine, 3DsMAX and OpenGL ES 2.0 on the mobile terminals. In
    particular, according to the cognitive rules of engineering graphics course, this kind of application is
    characterized by split-screen function that displays multimedia and 3D virtual models at the same
    time. It also achieves interactive control of virtual models.

    Rolling Bearing Fault Feature Extraction Based on Improved Variational Mode Decomposition

    In order to solve the problems that the fault feature of rolling bearing in early failure period
    is difficult to extract, a method for fault diagnosis of rolling bearings based on multi-correlation
    variational mode decomposition (MC-VMD) was presented. First, vibration signal is jointly acquired
    through multiple acceleration sensors and the multi-correlation process is made for the signal in order
    to prominent fault signal characteristics. Then VMD was used to decompose the fault signal into
    several intrinsic mode functions (IMFs), and then the IMF of biggest related kurtosis was analyzed by
    the spectral kurtosis and envelope demodulation. Finally identify the working status and fault type of
    rolling bearings through envelope spectrum. The proposed method was applied to actual signals. The
    results show that this method enables accurate diagnosis of rolling bearing fault, the analysis results
    demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed method.
