Abstract: The features and differences in Chinese and Japanese mechanical drawing textbooks are discussed and analyzed by comparison of the textbooks’ structures, contents, and also by comparison of teachers features, curriculums construction. Moreover, the enlightenments on textbook structure, teaching innovation, bilingual teaching are stated. Finally, it is put forward that the optimal overall objectives for talent person’s cultivation in mechanical engineering field should be considered for curriculums construction including the textbook of mechanical drawing.
