Abstract: Design Graphics is an important basic course in specialty of Industrial Design. The idea of “The main guide line is the design representation, meanwhile the training of innovation ability is the teaching purpose” is presented for the course reform. The new course system, new teaching mode and new assessment system are described. The practice shows that this teaching reform provides the effective way to improve students’ innovation ability and benefits to train new type of design talents.
