Abstract: To meet the needs of rapid generation of engineering drawing of boiler pipelines
for industrial plant, based on the given information of pipelines, taking the factor of projection
regular pattern into consideration, an algorithm about automatic generation of working drawing of
pipelines based on anchor points in 3D space is proposed and implemented. The algorithm can
determine the direction of Principal View, break the pipe automatically and complete the judgment
and generation of dihedral angle view and partial view automatically. The reliability and
effectiveness of this algorithm is verified in a practical application on enterprise production.
