Exploration of Virtual Model Size Measurement Methods

Abstract: This paper analyzes the status of practice teaching of model measuring, draws up#br# three modes of the dimensional measurement of model measuring in accordance with the characte#br# ristics of the model measuring training, explores the concrete implementation method of#br# dimensional measurementbased on eDrawings browser virtual model, then applies it in teaching of#br# "Engineering Graphics" course. It also provides a best practice for virtual model measuring#br# method and some application examples, which include important ways and approaches to improve#br# and strengthen students’ hands-on and model measuring abilities.#br# Key words: engineering graphics; practice teaching; model measuring; virtual model;#br# dimensional measurement

Abstract

Abstract: This paper analyzes the status of practice teaching of model measuring, draws up

ristics of the model measuring training, explores the concrete implementation method of
dimensional measurementbased on eDrawings browser virtual model, then applies it in teaching of
"Engineering Graphics" course. It also provides a best practice for virtual model measuring
method and some application examples, which include important ways and approaches to improve
and strengthen students’ hands-on and model measuring abilities.
