Abstract: This paper is about the deeper reform of Mechanical Drawing Course, which is set up
based on the concept of modern education and teaching methods toward the understanding of the
role of personnel training, after analyzing the present situation of drawing course in China and
abroad, in view of the gap between China and developed countries. This reform is all-dimensional,
forming a new pattern of Mechanical Drawing Course, which uses face to face teaching as a
supporting and guiding means, project practice and self-learning are two main ways learning this
course. It is a successful practice under the guidance of advanced educational concept.
