Research on Virtual Collaborative Assembly Technology in Network Experiment Teaching

Abstract: Based on the characteristics of networked experimental teaching environments for virtual collaborative assembly, a new concept of the teaching-oriented collaborative assembly is proposed. By identifying its connotation and factors which need to be considered in implementation, differences of the definition, role and purpose between the teaching-oriented and design-oriented collaborative assembly implementation technology are analyzed. Key technologies of structure of virtual model laboratory used to support collaborative assembly, virtual collaborative assembly semantic information model and interference detection method in the assembly process are studied. The architecture of networked experiment teaching-oriented collaborative assembly platform is constructed. The system function and operation process are also explained. Finally, a case study is given.
