Abstract: Computer Aided Industrial Design (CAID) is one of core courses in industrial design. In former course system more attentions are paid on software operating. Training on ability of creativity is being neglected. Based on thought of creativity design, new course system of CAID is constructed in course teaching. Both design theory and design practice is regarded as equally important. The training on ability of creativity is considered as the vital part of the system. The case study and design contest are used as approaches to make the system realized. Cultivating results demonstrate the rationality of the new system.
