Abstract: The method combines the advantages in optimization grouping of genetic algorithms and ant colony algorithm, and blends it into the product color combination design of industrial design. Firstly, the whole color program libraries is searchedby using genetic algorithms to produce the original solution set of relevant issues. Then the characters of ant colony algorithm such as parallelism, mechanism of positive feedback and high sufficient solving problems are used to obtain the optimal solution. Finally, the color combination design of tank truck vehicle is taken as an example to proceed color optimization design, and access the result with fuzzy evaluation. The effectiveness of the method is proved. The method overcomes the defects of two algorithms, absorbs their advantages, and improves the efficiency of product color combination design and the intelligent design level.
